Cultural and Architectural Resources Management Associates (CARMA), a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) is a Texas based preservation consulting firm that focuses on preserving the cultural heritage and buildings of our past. CARMA was founded in 2005 by Dr. Elizabeth I. Louden.
CARMA has a dedicated philosophy of a balanced approach to all of our business aspects and associations with preservation professionals. The commitment to balance includes our concern for the individuals that we work with and the environment that we affect. A key component of the our projects is the consortium of partners/team members to cover the various disciples.
As the lead preservation professional, CARMA forms strong, diverse teams that are ably qualified to meet project needs and that possesses an understanding of the unique needs of historic resources. In projects that require a licensed architect or engineer, we engage the appropriate professional to meet requirements.
CARMA professionals have over 40 years of combined experience in the field of historic preservation and cultural resource management in the United States and around the world. Our consulting firm consists of a consortium of preservation consultants, architectural historians, historians, material specialists, archaeologists, contractors, graphic designers and licensed architects or engineers as required.
